During my recent stay at Zostel in Dharamkot, I found a commendable balance of value and comfort amid breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar ranges. The spacious four-bed female dorm with an attached balcony was well-maintained and provided not just cleanliness but also an inviting atmosphere for fellow travelers. The hotel's café, the Salvation Café, offered a variety of delicious meals, spanning from breakfast favorites like poha and omelettes to fulfilling main courses. This culinary addition enhances the experience without necessitating additional travel expenses for food. Zostel's communal areas, including the rooftop and bonfire, fostered a vibrant social environment, essential for solo travelers seeking companionship. The staff's assistance with local transportation and tours was invaluable, ensuring seamless exploration of nearby Mcleodganj and Dharamshala. For those looking for an affordable yet vibrant hideaway, Zostel is a wise choice. With amenities such as free Wi-Fi and a game room, the establishment successfully merges leisure and practicality, allowing guests to enjoy serenity while remaining financially conscious.
